Interested in learning the magic of kitchen lithography? You've come to the right place! Kitchen lithography is a non-toxic lithography method using aluminum foil and cola that works well in a home studio setting. The technique was developed by the French artist Émilie Aizier (Atelier Kitchen Print).
I get a lot of questions about my personal approach to kitchen litho so I have decided to offer occasional online workshops. I look forward to sharing my best tips and tricks with everyone!
I will offer a 2-hour workshop where I will do an in-depth demonstration of my technique for kitchen lithography. Participants work alongside me and create their own kitchen litho prints and we will troubleshoot problems that arise. Keep in mind that the time constraints may not allow you to create a masterpiece during the class, rather the goal is to give you the basics of the technique so you can incorporate kitchen lithography into your own practice.
Each session is for 8 participants maximum to enable back and forth communication. The class will be held over Zoom and the cost will be 35$US via PayPal. If you are interested, please click on one of the links below to sign up. The link will take you to an external scheduling site where you can input your name and email in the class of your choice. Times are listed in Canada/US Eastern Time. After registration, I will send you an email with materials and payment information.
Workshops will be recorded and available to view for 2 weeks after.
